I'd be an ungracious bastard if I didn't. Here's the deal.

About two years ago, I had maybe 500 karma and made a throwaway comment about my ex-fiancee's first orgasm coming from a dog. That sparked some interest and I wrote up the whole story. That led to an AMA and from it, more stories from my life came up.

I kept writing furiously, trying to keep up with the AMA questions and at the end, multiple Redditors told me that I needed to write them down in a book and that if I did, they'd buy it.

Well, I did. March 6th of 2011 I put that book out on Amazon and it has been selling ever since. Buoyed and encouraged by the success of that book, I started writing more, putting out anything I could, wondering if I could replicate that first book's success. "The Warlizard Chronicles" has been in the top 100 in humor for almost a year on Amazon and it pays my mortgage.

I wrote under multiple pen names and now have so many books out that I'm effectively retired. Oh, I still write all the time, mostly because I don't know how long this gravy train will end, but I'll never forget why I started writing.

So every time someone asks about the WGF, I think to myself that without Redditors, I'd still be busting my ass daily, trying to scrape by, and wondering if the economy was going to crush me.

The look of disapproval is expected now and if I don't do it, people ask why not.

So simply put, Redditors deserve my regard, they deserve my respect, and if a simple ಠ_ಠ makes them happy, then that's what I'll do.
